Although this video is short, it shows what Alaskans have to deal with on garbage day. This bear found the jackpot.. a garbage can waiting to be picked up.This doesn’t happen that often, especially in populated areas like Anchorage, but any given day you can see a bear walking the streets or going through a garbage can.

Feeding wildlife in Alaska is illegal, unless if it’s a bear wanting your garbage. Most people don’t realize that feeding moose your food scraps is also illegal and many people have been fined for doing it. This bear is obviously going to get into the garbage no matter what.
