Halloween is a holiday that signals the coming winter. It seems like winter arrives close after Halloween passes.
But in Alaska winter sometimes arrives at the end of September. On September 29th, 2013 it snowed in and around Anchorage, Eagle River, Palmer, Wasilla and further up north! Living in Alaska you adjust to the weather and its not uncommon to have a very cold and sometimes snowy Halloween.
